Christine Vosters (Keyboard and Vocals) began playing piano at the age of nine with her primary focus on classical music and participation in several competitions and workshops. In high school she expanded her musical horizon to include Jazz by participating in jazz band and also began writing music. Christine attended the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and majored in theater.
This is where she began exploring vocals and, shortly after, was given the opportunity to become part of Unity. Christine enjoys sending a message
through songs and blending her classical style with the rest of the Unity family in order to complete the original and creative sounds they deliver.
Steve Scott (Drums) began playing the drums at the age of four for his church. Steve fine-tuned his skills playing at various churches, picking up
a musical background in Gospel, R & B, and Blues. Although he now loves to play everything as the drummer in Unity, he uses his previous knowledge to incorporate diversity into the band. Since moving to Wisconsin, Steve is glad to be a part of Unity and has a really good time mixing beats with the rest of the band.
Pita Katobalavu (Lead Vocals) began his musicianship in his native home, the Fiji Islands, and continued it while in Hawaii. In Hawaii, Pita has performed in five different reggae bands and his church choir. Although it took a year after starting this band to find its true backbone, he is still enjoying every minute of it. Turning the musical message into words, Pita adds a smooth and happy island feeling to the overall diversity of the band.
